Jesse:  Adopted

Jesse is a mild-mannered gentleman. He is really soaking in the "good life" in his foster home. He has clearly not been allowed in the house much of his life so he is learning more about how to be the perfect "inside" gentleman. He is very sweet with all the other dogs in his foster home and likes everyone he meets. Jesse is working very hard on his potty training and will be ready to start the new year in a new home!

UPDATE

I'm a laid back kind of guy, but still have quite a bit of spunk! I love getting out to meet new new friends and have new experiences. I have a loyal and loving personality, and really like to focus my energy on being sure my person is never left feeling unloved.

With this attention, I have learned the proper potty habits and know how to use a doggie door. I would do best in a home where I'm not left alone for long periods of time, and would benefit from having at least one other dog friend to bond and play. I don't mind being kenneled, but would prefer to sleep quietly on a dog bed or chair placed near where you are. As you can see, I've gained more weight than a boy my size should carry. I would need to continue my diet to ensure I'm healthy and strong.

I am hoping for a home that has some fun dogs and kids to play with. I love to be active and play outside with them. I'm a smart boy, who minds training and correction well. Cats do not bother me either. I choose to just pretend they aren't even there, unless one wants to snuggle with me on a favorite chair. If you are looking for a mild mannered boy who minds and adores you, won't you consider me? I am still waiting for someone to offer me a forever home just like yours!

UPDATE

The suburban jungle is safe with me on duty! I love to spend my time patrolling the fence perimeter to ensure that no breach of security has found its way through. While I do get along well with other dogs, I would also be fine in a single dog home. I know how to be content on my own when you are busy, and don't mind finding a place to take a nap and wait for attention. I get the most enjoyment out of quietly cuddling on your lap, or sitting beside you on a chair. My focus is aimed squarely on loving my person and sharing my affection.

My personality is generally submissive and quiet. I can blend into the scenery and I'm not one to try to steal the show. I will patiently wait my turn for meals or treats, and happily sleep the night away in my kennel.
