I may look like a diamond in the rough right now, but I am already starting to shine. My foster family is giving me great food and lots of TLC. The nice folks from CTDR got my teeth all cleaned up and sparkly white.

I just need to get rid of these awful heartworms and I will be ready to shine just for you!

UPDATE

I'm a sweet mannered lady who loves to go for walks on a nice warm day. I get along well with children and other dogs, and am quickly recovering from my heartworm treatment. Having to rest so much during treatment left me with a small amount of weight to shed, but since I love to go on walks, that should be fairly easy to do.

I have great house manners and even come when I'm called. Sometimes I bark at strangers, but warm up to them quickly when I know they belong. My foster mom says I am just a joy to have around!

Now that I'm better, I'm ready to find my forever home. I hope that home has been waiting for me too!
