Dixie was rescued from a terrible situation along with her buddies Brady and Blossom. She was kept in a cage with several other dogs and suffers from some dermatitis and dental problems. She also has heartworms. Dixie was cold and scared when she came to the rescue, yet still manages to wag her tail and show love to the people caring for her. After her heartworm treatment, she will be on her way to becoming whole again and will be ready to share her positive attitude in a loving home of her own!

UPDATE

This tiny girl is getting a great bit taste of the good life! Dixie is a calm and sweet little lady. She follows her people from room to room, wagging her tail, or curling up for some rest. She is so small that her foster mom has nicknamed her "Little Bit." Even after a day of surgery Dixie wanted nothing more than to snuggle and be loved. Her appreciation for a second chance shows through in her loving gaze and sweet personality.

Dixie has had her dental work done and been spayed. She is quickly learning ladylike potty habits, and is a truly loving little girl. Once she completes her heartworm treatment, she will be ready to find a home of her own! Her needs are few, but her gifts are plenty! If you are looking for a tiny, calm, sweet little addition to your family, then this girl is waiting just for you!
