Milo is a 6 year old neutered mini found wandering the streets. He is current on his vaccinations and is heartworm negative and on prevention. Currently he weighs almost 14 lbs, which is too much for a mini boy! So he called up Valerie Bertinelli, and the two of them are doing Jenny Craig together "One Day At A Time." (Note to self: you are watching too much TV!) He is fine with other dogs, and enjoys some lap time with his humans. He can walk on a leash and is crate trained.
UPDATE
I know you're all waiting for an update on me, so here it goes. I'm doing great! My foster parents are feeding me this really yummy food and they've told me I'm at a good weight and lookin' good! I'm excellent in the crate and I know how to use the doggy door. I get lots of praises for that which I totally love! I mostly just want to lay around wherever my foster parents are (unless I see the kitty run by and then I'm off and chasing). I don't really like to play much, but I love to lay around with my foster brother Tex. Every once in a while I get a burst of energy and me and my foster Daddy play around the house. Bedtime is my favorite because I get to sleep with my foster parents and the other doggies in the big bed. I curl up to whoever is the warmest and I don't move all night long!
I'm very vocal and it makes my foster Mommy laugh. When she comes home I welcome her with the most excited barking she's ever heard. Once she gives me some lovin' I'm content and go on with my night. I love to "talk" and my foster Daddy calls me the little grumbler. He's always telling me how cute it is that I like to carry on conversations with him. Call me today at 555-MILO (really, just fill out that adoption application) and we can chat forever!!
UPDATE
Hi everyone! I'm still here with CTDR just waiting for the right person to love. I have had a couple of surgeries in the last 3 years, but I'm doing great now! I wobble a little bit when I walk, but that doesn't stop me from being the first dog to the kitchen when foster mom rings the dinner bell! I am a very opinionated guy and I love to talk to you. Foster mom sometimes calls me Walter...you know, like Walter Mathau from Grumpy Old Men? She says that's what I sound like. Really, I'm just telling her that my pillow needs to be fluffed.
That's all I need, a comfy bed and a blanket (or two) to call my own. I don't need to go for walks, and I only play with toys when I think foster mom isn't looking. I do love to cuddle and mom says I make a very effective foot warmer in the big bed. Don't think I'm spoiled though, I do like my crate, and will seek it out for naps as long as its in the same room as all the action.
I love to eat and I have been known to drink an entire water bowl on my own. Once things have taken their course, I will let you know by going to the back door and barking a little that I need to go outside. If its nice and sunny, I love to find the perfect spot to sun and watch the world go by.
I am good with other small dogs, and I even have two big dogs for foster siblings. (They make great heaters!) I would do well on my own though.
Is your house the right one for me?
