Bruiser:  Available

I was out wandering one day, exploring on my own. I was so wrapped up in investigating that I didn't see that car coming at me! After I was hit by the car, I was taken to the shelter where I waited for days, in agonizing pain.

Luckily, I was rescued and taken to the doctor. Turns out I have some serious injuries that will require surgery to repair. I'm young and fit, so I hope my recovery will go quickly and smooth.

I have a great personality and willingly share love. Even in terrible pain, I have no interest in showing anything but sweetness toward the people helping me. They tell me my surgery will be soon and I hope it goes well. After that, I can go to a foster home to heal and recover.

I've been through a lot, but hope to be better soon. I'd like to find a forever home, far away from busy streets and danger. If you can offer me that home, I'd love to hear from you!

UPDATE

I just love this time of year, don't you?  That warm sun shining in through the window just makes me drift off into the most deep and peaceful nap.  I love to dream about what it will be like when I'm adopted into my forever home!  It doesn't even matter if I get my whole body into the dog bed, as long as I get most of me basking in the sun! 

I just love being around my new dog friends at my foster home.  We have formed a little cuddle pack and they are helping me feel better with each day that passes.  I'm healing well from my surgery and starting to play and get around very well.  I have a funny little skip to my step once in a while, but that hasn't slowed me down one bit!  I'm practicing my house manners and learning quickly where to do my business.  All my other tests came back clean as a whistle so my health is in great shape!  At this rate, I'll be ready to come to your house very soon!
