Mollie is a 13-year-old wheaten wire who had been with the same owner since she was a puppy. Unfortunately, her owner passed away and the family didn't have a place for her so she wound up at the local animal shelter. Mollie is very spunky for her age and has a lot of love to give. She would make a great companion for someone who is looking for a big, soft cuddler.

Mollie is a sweet senior who has learned the value of good company, as well as peaceful time to herself. She is quite content with a warm greeting when you get home, then a snuggly place to settle herself down. Mollie gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home but pretty well keeps to herself. She is content to just observe as the world moves around her. While she does enjoy being shown affection, but doesn't require a lot of attention to be happy. Being the mature lady that she is, she does have some hearing loss and does not care for loud interruptions. She will let you know by giving you "the look" and moving to a more quiet place to rest.

Mollie would make a great companion for someone who loves some company, but also likes a dog that is content to spend time alone. She has a calm personality and is a low maintenance kind of girl.
