Raggs has been used for breeding and breeding, and when her family was done she was unceremoniously dumped and the shelter and they were told to put her down. The workers there didn't see any reason why, so they called us. She does have some skin infections and flea allergies, and they were treating her by dumping her in motor oil! Yes sirree, nothing like a good lube job to fix what ails ya! We decided that antibiotics were a much better option.

She is 13 and a small standard. We will spay her and fix her rotten tooth. She is heartworm negative and on prevention, and has had her vaccinations. She is still very active, but also enjoys her soft bed. She is good with people and is OK with other dogs. We are going to get her a pretty new haircut.

UPDATE/h5>

Raggs has a new "'do!" Doesn't she look pretty? And she feels better too, instead of the mop that she was wearing before. She just knows that she is a much better looking dog and can turn heads now. She also was part of a group of 10 adoptable CTDR dogs that went on the mile walk at the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot in Austin, raising awareness of our group and the dogs that we have up for adoption. She walked much of the way - not bad for a 13 year old gal!
