Woody is a very sweet boy who has been very neglected. When we got him, his beautiful coat was a mess of mattes and he is positive for heartworm disease. How can anyone let such a beautiful sweet dog get into this condition? He will be groomed this week and will begin treatment for heartworm. He will be available to become a member of your family at the end of September 2008.
UPDATE
Woody has completed his heartworm treatment and is potty trained with a doggy door. Woody is a very sweet boy, but he really doesn't like being bothered when he is eating. He seems afraid that someone will take it away from him. Since he was very thin when we got him, he probably had missed several meals. Woody is very interested in cats, it would be better if he went to a home with only one or two other dogs and no cats.
