UPDATE: 

Freeway is one loving and sweet boy  who craves human attention and affection.  He is crate trained and will sleep all through the night without a peep.  He loves to play ball and he would love to have someone throw him a tennis ball all day long.  He gets along well with the other dogs in the foster home, however sometimes he wants to play and they want to be left alone.  He is a high energy boy and play is his favorite word.

Are you ready for cuteness alert?   Freeway was found walking down a very busy US Highway in North Houston.  Thankfully bystanders stopped and got this little guy to safety.  He was taken to a local auto parts company where he stayed in the office for one night.  CTDR was contacted the  next morning and this little guy is now safely in his foster home.  He has had his first set of puppy shots and will get his next set in 4 weeks at which time he will be neutered and microchipped.  He is crate trained and will whimper a little when placed in the crate but then does fine.  He also does well with other dogs as long as they show no aggression towards him.  If a dog shows any aggression he will start barking like he is a big dog.  Could Freeway be the boy you have been looking for?  If so, please complete an application at ctdr.org.
