Chance is an absolute joy. He is very sweet, and generally just a very happy dog. Chance  has a happy-go-lucky disposition. He is very laid back and seems to always be in a good mood. Chance is happy to meet new people and gets along with other dogs, big and small. He enjoys snuggling on the couch and loves to be held in your arms, he rewards you be laying his head on your shoulder. He has trouble with stairs, but he will wait for help. When out walking the neighborhood he easily navigates curbs without any help. He does great walking on-leash, he doesn't pull at all. He loves walking off-leash on trails, he will stay right with you. If he does get out ahead of you he always checks over his shoulder to make sure you are there. Today, when I fell behind because I was waiting for our dog, he came back and stepped on my foot to let me know we needed to keep moving. He has great communication for when he needs to go out. We haven't had a single incident since he has been in our care. When he thinks you aren't listening he steps on your foot to get his point across. Chance is not a big barker, he mostly barks for communication-affection, potty, food. He loves to sit in the window and watch people pass by, but he doesn’t bark at them unless our dog starts to bark, and then he will chime in. He is very food motivated, he hasn’t met a snack he doesn’t like. He even loves to chomp on green beans and carrots. Chance is super spunky and has a good amount of energy. Overall he is a really sweet happy dog.
