Senior Pete is a friendly laid back little man.   He loves nothing more than to follow you around and hang out on the couch with you.  On short slow walks he is a stop and smell the roses kinda guy.  He flops over occasionally for belly rubs and is fairly quiet. He hardly barks at all but will fuss sometimes if your behind a closed door. He does like to be near you.  He has settled into his foster home and uses the doggy door well.  He sleeps and naps in any available soft bed, and does snore a bit at times but it’s pretty darn cute.  Pete has done great with other dogs, he doesn’t play but will follow them around a bit and snuggle up on the couch with them also.  His devotion to you is strong but quiet. You always find him sitting by your feet waiting for scratches or treats. Pete is not food aggressive but will let his foster siblings know to leave him alone when he’s enjoying his treats.  He loves mealtime and will hop around happily when he sees you heading for the dog food.  Pete deserves a loving home and good couch to spend his golden years.
