Heartworm Prevention is given on the 21st of each month

UPDATE:  This sweet girl has once again found herself back in Rescue.  She had been adopted in July 2018 and her family has decided she is not the right fit for them after 10 months.  If you think she would fit into your family, please complete an application at CTDR.org.

 

Aspen is an adorable tiny lady who was rescued from a hoarding situation. Despite a rough start in life she is the happiest and friendliest little thing and her tail never stops wagging.  She is a tad shy only at very first meeting you.  But within minutes she is your best friend. She  settled in very quickly with us and loves loves to give you kisses and snuggles.  She is great with her foster siblings, she loves to play with toys, and to make her even more adorable she has a bit of blue in her right eye.  She is smart and quickly learned her crate is where she sleeps and hops in for her nightly treat at bedtime.  She has been doing very well with her potty training. I would say she is about 75% there.  She uses the doggy door like a champ, she loves to be outside.  But she is still having a few accidents here and there in the house.  She is so close and her adopter will need to continue with that.  She understands what no means and is learning what is hers to play with and what is not.  She did very well at a recent meet and greet, and gave out kisses to adults and kids.  She’ll just need little patience with her continued training and you will be rewarded with the biggest smallest bundle of love you have ever seen !
