UPDATE:
Julietta is a very sweet girl. She is very shy when meeting new people. After she trusts you, she loves to be with you, and roll over for belly rubs, or leans her head back to get her neck petted. She is completely content to be held and carried around like a baby. She does that cute doxie thing, when you stop petting her, she will nudge you with her nose so you keep going. When she first came to us, she would walk so close to us that you had to be careful not to step on her. Now she walks right by your side, keeping the perfect distance. She also walks really well off-leash, she always checks where you are, and comes when called. She loves chasing squirrels and butterflies. She likes squeaky toys, ropes, and fabric chew toys. She plays with other dogs her size.We have had her during big thunderstorms and crazy fireworks, and she is not afraid of any of them. Funny things that do make her nervous, like taking her collar on and off. She might piddle a bit if she gets excited or scared. She likes to sleep under the covers at your feet, or in her dog bed, or on the couch under a blanket.
Julieta is a very sweet little girl. She is quite cautious around new people and new dogs but will warm up. Once she trusts you, she seems to never stop rolling over and waiting for her belly to be scratched. Then she gets a big smile on her face when you pet her. This pretty girl enjoys going on walks and often leads the way, but turns her head every few seconds just to be sure her human is still close. She has shown no inclination to chew on furniture, shoes, or any household items. She is housetrained, although from time to time she will piddle a little bit if she’s really excited to see her human come home. She really likes to snuggle, her favorite place is underneath a fuzzy blanket or comforter.
