Levi was given up by his long-time owners because their family situation had changed and they could no longer provide a home for him. CTDR rescued him from the North Texas area and transported them to Austin for veterinary care. He is ready for adoption and needs a loving, forever home where he can continue being the happy dog that he is.
Levi is a congenial dog, much interested in hisenvironment and the people around him. He is well-adjusted and makes a pleasant companion. He GREATLY enjoys attention and affection (especially belly rubs) and going for walks. He is a good walker, leading but not excessively pulling. He can be confrontive to new people, but eases up fairly quickly. He is crate-trained and his potty training is complete. He has mastered the doggie door and when in the room with access to it, he always uses it to go out to do his business.
Levi minds well and comes instantly when called. He doesn't seem to be able to see well because of eyes that are only partially developed but that doesn't affect his ability to explore and enjoy.
Although Levi was taken in by CTDR with his brother Sawyer, he is not bonded. He would do best in a single dog home where he can get the attention he craves.
