Heartworm Prevention is given on the 24th of each month

UPDATE: Venus has found herself back in Rescue through no fault of her own.  Her adopters developed health issues and could no longer care for her.  She is ready once again to find her forever home.

She’s super sweet affectionate by with me. Love’s to be cuddled and sleeps with me at night. She likes to play with toys,  fetch is her game. Venus seems to be leery of men.... . She would also probably do best as an only dog. I think she had to bully her way in for attention in her last family because she nips at my dogs a lot if I’m petting her as if to say no it’s still my turn. She walks well on a leash and is working on consistently using the dog door. Right now she will come in the dog door but when going out to potty she prefers you open the human door.

Venus is very new to CTDR having come into Rescue with 9 other dogs from a Confiscation case.  She is fully vetted and is now ready for a forever home.  If you are interested in providing this little girl with a new home, please complete an application at ctdr.org.
