Liesel is a really good dog. She's pretty low energy with occasional bursts of energy. She enjoys hanging out while you work or watch TV, food, rolling in grass, and, especially food. She tends to be pretty shy if you chase her or loom over her, but she will come to you if you have food or if you're offering pets. She is good in the car. She likes her crate and sleeps in it at night. She doesn't feel like she needs to be on the furniture, even if there is a ramp up to it. She is pee pad trained and we're working on getting her trained to do her business outside, although she tends to see grass as something to roll in. She gets along with her foster brothers who are MUCH bigger than her, but gets overwhelmed when they try to play with her. She seems to instinctually trust older women (wagged her tail for the first time at my mom on first meeting her). She's ok being left crated for short periods of time (max 4 hours), but I think it would be best for her to go to someone who is home most of the time. She could go to a home by herself or with other dogs, but it's best that those other dogs also be low energy. ates.
