Ginger3 is 15 pounds fun-loving, squirrel-chasing, energetic snuggling joy who is ready to bound into your heart. She has never met a human stranger (she's friendly and eager to meet new people. Given a few minutes to get to know new furry friends, any small dog can be her buddy. Ginger does get along with most dogs. Ginger will sleep in a crate or bed on the floor at night, but she would be thrilled to burrow under your covers. She is very affectionate and enjoys being held and cuddled, and exchanges kisses. She is enthusiastic about car rides and walks with a leash, eagerly sniffing every tree and fencepost. Ginger is currently in a home with one other dachshund. She entertains herself by spending most of her time outdoors where she patrols the backyard for small animals. She has proven that with the right feline roommate, she will respect cats. Ginger prefers the company of small-to-medium sized dogs. Ginger was surrendered by her owners after the landlord would not let them keep her.
