Forrest and his brother Willy, are new arrivals to CTDR.  The two brothers were found as strays in North Texas and were taken to the local shelter in hopes someone would come and claim them.  When that did not happen CTDR jumped into action to make they were safe and got them into Rescue.  Forrest is very cautious with strangers but will warm up quickly.  He will need a little time with his new family so he can learn to trust.  Being the older brother, Forrest is protective of his younger brother.  Both boys are very playful and they get along with other dogs.  Forrest and Willy must be adopted together as we will not split them up. Forrest unfortunately has those nasty heartworms and will have to go through heartworm treatment before he can be adopted.
