UPDATE:
Junior is such a great little guy, easy going and spunky, you would never guess his age. He gets along fine with our dog, and he has done well on walks, he isn't afraid of big dogs, and happy to say hello. He is good about going to the back door when he needs to go out. He really likes to take his time deciding where to go potty, all the stars need to align. He rides well in the car; he loves to look out the window. He likes to be where you are, be near you, he is overall a happy little guy.
Let's welcome Junior into Rescue. This sweet senior gentleman was dumped at another family members' house under the pretense of pet sitting and then they never returned. The family who took him had him for 5 months and then decided to either put him to sleep or let Rescue take him in. When CTDR was contacted we immediately said yes as we wanted to give this boy a good quality of life. We were not told anything about his condition, however it was a big case of neglect. Junior had a big mass removed from his perianal area removed, his mouth raged with infection and he needed all of his vaccines and a neuter. All of this has now been taken care of and thankfully Junior can once again start to enjoy life. Junior is looking for a foster and a forever home with someone who will take care of him for the rest of his life. If that person is you, please complete an application at www.ctdr.org.
