Hi! I am Miss Micci (pronounced Mickey) from Texas! My main goal in life is to be loved and give lots of love in return. I have a very soft and beautiful black and tan coat and I weight about 18 pounds. My legs and tail are long and my coat is short -- My ears are somewhere in the middle -- and I have beautiful brown eyes and a great personality.

I sleep quietly in my crate all night and walk nicely on a leash! I do bark when someone comes to the door, but not too much otherwise. I love to get lots of exercise by running and walking, but there's nothing better than snuggling with my human. New people sometimes me nervous at first, but if they are willing to approach me quietly and give me a chance, I can't wait to give lots of love and make a new friend. I am a real curious type girl who loves to sniff and explore and I'm fascinated by birds and sometimes think I would like to catch one!

My brothers and I had a really rough start in life... We were all infested with mange when we were puppies. We never received any treatment so our skin looked terrible. We were then dumped on the side of the road with our mother when we were about four months old and thankfully, someone stopped and picked us up. Then CTDR rescued us, took us to the Hwy 620 Animal Hospital where Dr. Bouloy and his staff worked their magic and our foster mom took such good care of us, we are all so healthy and happy now -- We can't wait to find our forever homes!

Because I had such a tough start, I have a tough time sharing with other dogs. So I am looking for a home where I can be the center of attention, like the beautiful lady that I am.
