Heartworm Prevention is given on the 9th of each month

Update on Mindy 11-2-2012:

She loves to be around her people, is a great traveler.  I also think she would be very happy with another dog to play with.  She is very entertaining at times.  She is also very adorable with eyes that can melt your heart.  She can be a lap dog, or she can turn over on her back feet up and be very comfortable.

 

She sometimes reminds us of a cat the way she plays.  She can chase a reflection or a light around for quiet a while.  She is too funny.

 

 

Mindy is a very sweet, loving and affectionate young girl. She gets along well with the other dogs and does very well on walks. She is house and leash trained.     

She will play with toys, but her idea of a good time is snuggling and napping. She is playful but calm, and great with children.    

She absolutely does not like being crated; but if you have to, she works better with an airline carrier crate (enclosed except for the door) versus a wire/metal crate. She gets very upset if she knows you are in the house and she is in the crate. She just wants to be with her humans. She does have a bit of separation anxiety, but she isn't destructive while not in the crate. She just cries for you to come back soon!
