Heartworm prevention is given on the 3rd of each month

 

 

Wallace is a very young, active, goofy boy and a pleasure to have around!  He reminds me of "Goofy" from the cartoons, so I call him Goofball Wally!  He likes to be silly, and wiggle his butt and tail until it almost falls off and makes me smile!  His face is so expressive, you can tell what he is thinking just by looking at him.  Wally gets his feelings hurt easily and curls up in a ball and hides his face when told "NO"!  This is an energetic little boy, although he is not little really!  He is a Little Standard in size, long and lean and weighs about 17 pounds!  His coat is short and black with a dark brindle face, paws and points!  His coat is so shiny and soft, I just can't keep my hands off him!  He loves to be petted and loves to wrestle! He has big brown, expressive eyes and the floppy ears of a true Dachshund!  Wally does pretty good about going to the door to ask to go outside to do his business.  We are working hard to learn some basic manners such as "SIT" and "STAY" and "DOWN"!  He is a very smart boy and picks things up quickly. When he hears his name he comes running really quickly!  So far, he has been quiet in the house and not barked at all.  Wallace sleeps all night burrowed under the covers either on my bed or in a crate.  He much prefers to sleep in the big bed with me and the other dogs, but does okay in a crate.  Wally is a kisser, and just loves to give kisses!  His day is not complete unless he has given my face a total bath with his tongue!  His teeth are pearly white and he has fresh breath, so it is not bad at all!  He has been neutered, micro chipped, up to date on his vaccines and heart worm negative!

 

Wallace is walking pretty good on a leash and has never met a stranger!  He truly believes EVERYONE was put on this earth to pet and love on Wallace! He just stares at birds and doesn't bark at them or give chase.  We have not met up with a cat yet, so not sure how he will react to a cat.  Wallace just loves all dogs, and it doesn't seem to matter the size!  He just wants to play with everybody!  Wallace does tend to jump up when meeting people, so a small child may be knocked over.  But Wallace loves children and loves to give chase and be chased!

 

Wallace is an energetic little boy and needs a family that will play with him and give him the attention he desires and needs!  He is a real lover and just wants to please his human!
