UPDATE: 02-10-2013 Sundance has learned some doggie manners and now sits for a treat. He is learning to sit before meal time and seems to be improving daily. He does know the command “COME HERE” when called and is learning the command “DOWN”. He is still being potty trained but does most of his business outside; still working on crate training. Don’t be surprised to find him in a laundry basket huddled up with the clothes. He also loves to sneak behind you and take a nap when you are sitting on a computer chair. He does not make much noise when outside, barking is rare.
This is Sundance, he is a super sweet and fun loving little guy. He loves to cuddle and from time to time he will play. Quite the expert at tackling those bigger than himself, so watch out playmates, “I will take you down”! He does chew a little but nothing out of the usual puppy norms and he is a little escape artist. Not sure if he digs his way out or just finds a small gap to squeeze out of, but you have to keep your eye on this little guy, he loves adventures. He is currently being crate trained and improving daily. He likes ropes and tugging on cloth. He loves food and treats, learning to sit for a treat. He does come when called and knows his name quite well. He gives kisses and welcomes anyone who walks in the door. This little guy is very gentle and will put his head on your shoulder and paw on your heart, any day, and any hour, just to be close to you. He wants to be given tender loving care since that’s what he gives without hesitation. He does get a little hyper sometimes but nothing out of the ordinary and is willing to obey if taught the correct manners. He does not use his teeth; he would rather use his tongue. He will bark at other dogs outside, but not persistently. He is okay with cats, more curious than anything, seems a little scared of them at times but for the most part he gets along well with them and leaves them alone. He seems to need a little bit of housetraining but does know how to do the serious stuff outside. This little guy will dance all day until the sun goes down, so be prepared to live each day like there is no more tomorrow. He will awaken the best in you and want to be a part of it all. If you want to be loved unconditionally, he is without a doubt, the right dog for your home.
