Heartworm Prevention is given on the 10th of each month

UPDATE:  May 13, 2013  Dee Dee is a sweet 3 year old petite black and tan mini female (about 8 pounds). She had eye infections when her fosters picked her up but those are now cleared up. She is still on twice a day eye meds to help her produce more tears and her opthamologist is very happy with her progress. She is really good about getting her eye drops, especially since she gets treats when she is done. There is another foster in the house (Minnie) and Dee Dee claims all the accidents are due to her but the foster parents are not sure. She gets along really well with the other 3 dogs in the home. She loves to snuggle and sleep with Minnie. Minnie tries to get Dee Dee to play - most of the time Dee Dee is not interested and tolerates Minnie, but will play occasionally. Dee Dee loves her doggie door and is very attentive to the sounds of the neighborhood. She would make a good watch dog, letting you know when she hears something interesting. In the evenings she loves her couch time and is extremely fond of lap time. At bedtime she covers herself up with blankets and is frequently found snoozing in the same bed as Minnie. She would probably love sleeping in the same bed as her people, but is quite happy with a few minutes in the big bed in the morning before everyone gets up. Dee Dee does not always finish her breakfast but will happily polish it off at lunch. If she were an only dog you could just leave her food down for her. Dee Dee loves to give kisses and simply enjoys being around people. She will make someone a great companion.

 

Dee Dee is a sweet 3 year old petite black and tan mini female.  She currently weighs about 8 pounds.  She is not totally housetrained yet but is working on it and making improvements.  She gets along with the other dogs in her current foster home and like to snuggle with one of the dogs quite often.  She currently has an eye infection and requires eye drops multiples times a day.  Once the infection is cleared up, she will be ready for her forever home.   She is also doggie door trained.
