Heartworm Prevention is given on the 12th of each month

Rusty was also a breeder dog who also apparently never received any attention. I suspect this little guy was never allowed out of a kennel. Rusty seems not to have ever had any affection or interaction with people. He shows absolutely no signs of aggression, but he is still terrified of people. He doesn't yet interact with other dogs, but he shows no aggression towards them. He is SLOWLY allowing his foster family to give him attention, but he has a long way to go before he's a normal rambunctious Dachshund. He must undergo heartworm treatment before he's ready to be adopted. He's a very beautiful and sweet dog, but he will need a family familiar with rehabilitating puppy mill dogs.
