Hershey was rescued from a breeding/abusive saturation. He is a puppy learning that people can be kind and loving. I believe that at the start of Hershey’s life he was not cared for and was kicked. He is therefore very leg shy and will keep his distance from you when you are up and walking. But if you sit or lie down he will be on you in a second to be touched and loved on. Hershey is learning that people can be kind and touch only to comfort, not to kick to hurt. But Hershey is a puppy and with a little patience and love will forget all about his past life.
