Please meet “Mary."  Mary lost her person and ended up in an animal shelter in bad shape. But CTDR came to her Rescue-“BIG TIME."  Mary is a lively senior, black and tan, little girl. She is 10 to 13 years young. (No one knows for sure) She has cataracts in both eyes, but that does not slow her down much. Mary sees both light and movement and navigates very well, but she does have a wonderful habit of announcing her coming and passage with her distinctive bark, when she detects anything in front of her. I now call her “Mighty Mary” because she is an eight pound princess. All of her foster brothers and sisters  defer to Mary.  Mary loves her meals and will let you know when you are late getting dinner ready. She is also good about letting you know when she needs to "powder her nose."  Mary would do well with a settled person or couple. She is a accomplished lap warmer and loves to be stroked and brushed. She is up to date on all shots and is heartworm negative. She has been through a lot and would like to spent her retirement years in a loving “forever home."  If you would like to meet or learn more about Mary, please complete an application at CTDR.org.
