Tyrone is a high energy, happy go lucky guy that should do well with almost anyone; as long as he gets a daily walk and has plenty of toys to play with - he’s a happy camper! He has passed kids in the neighborhood when out walking & he wanted to go play with them. I have not seen him around cats. Being a busy beaver, he will do best with an active family. Other dogs would be great, as he seems to get along with everyone. An apartment wouldn’t be ideal, but would be okay if someone is willing to take him out walking/jogging, to the dog park, etc. He is highly adaptable, lovable and will be a great pet. If he is around other dogs, he needs to be reminded (with a spray bottle of Listerine & water) to eat only his own food. He is a “food hound” and will steal everyone else’s food if allowed to do so. I am now able to feed him with my other dogs, but it has taken a few weeks to get him to that point. He also likes to steal socks, shoes, laundry, etc. Anything left on the floor is fair game. I have found that lots of toys is the answer to boredom for Tyrone. Also, a daily rawhide bone, keeps him busy as well.  He has lost the excess weight he had when he arrived (much to his dismay). But his new family will need to measure out his food and not feed him table scraps or he will gain it all back quickly. Tyrone is good with other dogs male and female. He is also crate trained and housetrained as well.  His favorite pastime is being in your lap so if you are looking for the perfect lap dog, Tyrone is the dog for you!
