After a month in her foster home, Chloe is starting to show signs of trust.  She will come when called but will cower down when she is being petted. She will often tinkle a little in these situations.   She is a very sweet little girl who will cuddle up next to you without hesitation.  It seems that she feels the most vulnerable when the person is in a standing position versus at her level.  Her foster family is still working with her to ease her fearfulness. It has been a slow process. Chloe gets along with other dogs at the foster home.  She has a submissive nature and shows no aggression whatsoever. She shows some interest in toys but is not overly playful.  Chloe was likely an indoor dog but she enjoys the big backyard very much.  She will bark when excited but otherwise is laid back. Mostly she just goes with the flow. Chloe would do best with someone who has the time and patience to gain her trust.  She would prefer a low activity home, possibly as an only dog.  She would adapt to other dogs but don’t expect her to be especially playful with them.  She is more a one-on-one type dog.  She has not been exposed to children but at this point, young children might be too frightening to her. Chloe is a sweetheart who will reward anyone who has the willingness to give her the love and acceptance that she is looking for.
