Heartworm Prevention is given on the 7th of each month

Hi, this is Tate.  I am looking for my forever family.  I want nothing more than to be a part of your family.  I love spending time on your lap, giving kisses and getting belly rubs.  Boy I really do LOVE belly rubs.  They are the best thing ever.  I love to be outside and explore too.  I have to be watched around an open front door or garage because I just can't help myself and I run out for an adventure.  I have done great on not going potty inside.  Sometimes I forget and lift my leg but my foster mom tells me no and to go outside.  When they have to leave they put me in my crate.  I don't like it but I don't fuss too much.  I love meeting new people and kids are fun.  I like other dogs too.  It would be fun to have siblings with 2 or 4 legs.  But I won't be mad if I don't.  I don't like cats or other small animals.  I promise to protect your from them all the time, even if you don't really want me to.  Guess I need to work on that too.  My foster mom told me that I have to get treatment for heartworms.  I don't really know what that is but she said it is necessary to keep me healthy.  I get my first shot soon.  She said it will be over 2 months of resting and doctor visits to make sure they are all gone.  Then I can  join your family.  Will you be ready for me then?  I really hope so!
