Lenny was found by Animal Control outside of Dallas on the side of the road with a partially healed break in his left front leg. He has had surgery to repair his leg and after several weeks of healing has been cleared by his doctor for any kind of activity. He was likely malnourished when picked up as his coat has grown in very nicely while his leg has been healing. As you can see from his photos he is quite handsome. He slept in a crate while healing, but now a chair in the bedroom or one of several dog beds are his favorite spots to relax, usually with his feet in the air. He loves spending time on the couch with his family in the evening and having a little snuggle in the big bed in the morning. He loves people and dogs of all sizes. He enjoys spreading toys from the toy basket around the house. His favorite toy is a quacking duck - he will be taking that to his forever home. He likes spending time outside with the other dog at his foster home and is very good at the doggie door. Lenny will be waiting at the door to greet you, love on you and get a belly rub when you come home. He is a happy, funny guy and keeps his foster parents laughing at his antics.
