Heartworm Prevention is given on the 3rd of each month

Update: Sweetie Pie, 11 lbs has been a fabulous dog considering she has been crated so long for her heart worm treatment.  She is loving and loves to have her belly rubbed.  When she is finished with her business, she will come sit by my feet & wait until I pick her up since she is so limited in activity.  She gets along with my Sammy, a 10 lb dachshund.  Sweetie Pie is waiting for her forever home and someone who will give her lots of love as she will steal someone's heart.

Sweetie Pie is very new to Rescue.  She wandered up on someone's property in the Dallas area.  The finders tried to find her owners and they were not found so CTDR was asked to take her.  Unfortunately, she is heartworm positive and will have to go through heartworm treatment before she can be adopted.  Please keep watching the website for more updates.
