Heartworm Prevention is given on the 12th of each month

Duo is a very sweet, young dog with lots of energy.  He loves to play with his squeaky toys and tries to play with Skippy2 and Traylor; however, they have become grumpy old men and they would rather lie on their beds in the sunshine.  He also tries to play with bossy Coco but she does not care for his puppy energy or his presence in the house. Duo walks well on the leash (with halter)--one needs to keep a firm hand on the leash as Duo is a strong walker.  Duo is not destructive or a digger but he is inquisitive and smart.  He has been known to remove a cooking utensil off the counter top (he does not chew on the utensil--just guards it) and snatch a banana off the counter top.  He responds well to being told no and he understands that he needs to stop his behavior when the spray bottle is grabbed.  He does need a yard to run in as he has long legs--14 inches at the shoulder--and he likes to run.  Duo would probably do well as the only dog in the house--he tends to be jealous of affection shown to the other dogs.  Duo will sit with me in the recliner while I watch television and he likes to visit with me while I do yard work; however, I have to keep an eye on my garden tools.
