Heartworm Prevention is given on the 1st of each month

UPDATE: Chalino (pronounced Shalino) is the most affectionate little guy you will ever meet.  His tail is always wagging with pure joy and he will snuggle up as soon as you sit down.  He loves to run around the yard and play with his foster sister for hours.   He is completely house broken and loves to lay on or under a blanket like most Doxies.  Chalino is very friendly and he rarely barks.  He would make a wonderful addition to any family and he has a lot of love and devotion to lavish on his forever humans.   

Sweet Chalino had been hit by a car and was taken to a local shelter.  As a result, Chalino had multiple injuries that included a fractured hip, 2 pelvic fractures and a hernia.  CTDR was contacted and brought Chalino into Rescue.  He has now had his surgeries to repair his injuries and will be looking for his forever home.  Please check back on the to get more updates on this handsome boy.
