Species: Dog
General Color: Red
Current Size: 19.6 Pounds
Current Age: 14 Years 9 Months (best estimate)
Reaction to New People: Friendly
UPDATE:
Although she does love the company of other dogs, she would be best by herself. She tends to be very jealous. She wants to be right beside me and gets kind of snippy when my others try to sit beside me. She continues to be deathly afraid of thunder storms. I grab a blanket and “burrito” her in it and just hold on tight and pet her. We were out at the store last week when the storm came through, and we quickly came home to find her shaking under the bed. I would not leave her alone in a storm it would stress her out too much. She is always very happy, LOVES to sleep and LOVES to be outside sitting in the sun. We have a very large yard and she will walk the whole yard everyday with the other dogs. She continues to be a blessing to our home.
This sweet senior lady was found on the streets of Dallas and taken to a local shelter. Once there it was note that she id have a couple of mammary tumors but other than that she seems to be overall a healthy girl. She will get spayed and have the mammary tumors removed and then will be ready for her forever home. If interested, please complete an application at ctdr.org.
