CTDR is welcoming Tumble to Rescue today after he was surrendered by his owner.  The owner could no longer take care of him and did not want him to go to the local shelter.  CTDR was happy to step when we received the call to help Tumble.  Tumble got his name from the Texas Tumbleweed.  He is shy when you first meet him but will warm up quickly.  He loves to be talked to and loves attention.  He will follow you around just to be near his human. Like most dachshunds,, loves to burrow and needs a blankets no matter where he lays his head. He will need to join Weight Watchers as he is a bit overweight.  He is fully vetted and is looking for his forever home where he can spend the rest of his senior years.  If interested in giving this senior gent his forever home, please complete an application at ctdr.org.
