Heartworm Prevention is given on the 19th of each month

UPDATE:  Kida is doing really well in her foster home. She really likes to be where the humans are, but will also keep an eye out in the front window , monitoring the neighborhood happenings. She does really well on walks, and keeps a nice brisk pace. She was a champ during all the recent fireworks, not scared at all. She is shy around new people, she is clearly curious and would like to say hi. I think she would love to have a playmate or at least playdates, she is trying to convince her foster sister to play, but her foster sister will not give in. She has not had a single accident in the house, she is really well potty trained. She is not terribly food motivated. She is a well behaved girl, and has not shown any signs of naughtiness at all. She is a little snuggle bug. She will be a great companion.

 

Meet Kida, the newest arrival to CTDR.  Kida was found as a stray and taken to the shelter and when no one came for her, CTDR was contacted and of course we said yes, we had room for her as we did not want her spending the Christmas holidays in a cold shelter.  Kida has had all of her vetting except being spayed which she is scheduled for the week after Christmas.
