Meet Herman.  This sweet boy was found in the middle of the road and taken to a local shelter.  Since the shelter is in a rural area, CTDR was able to jump in and get this boy to safety.  Once he arrived at the vets office, he started his vaccination process and it was also found that he had been shot.  Who would do that to an animal?  So that was not bad enough, he then tested positive for those nasty heartworms and will have to undergo heartworm treatment.  He does need a foster to help him through the treatment and then a forever home.  If interested, please complete an application at www.ctdr.org.
