UPDATE: Sandy is a very sweet and dainty little girl. She is very quiet except when she first goes in the crate at night. She barks for quite some time, then will quiet down and sleep all night without a peep and she doesn’t mess up her crate at all. We have decided to let her sleep in the room with the other dogs just in a dog bed and she does great. She is very sweet with the other dogs and was completely non-reactive to them from the beginning. She learned the doggy door and doggy steps right away. She doesn’t appear to be fully potty trained but it may just be because the weather has been so bad. It has rained every day since we got her.
Sandy is a new arrival to CTDR. She was found as a stray in the North Texas area and taken to a very small shelter. CTDR was contacted to see if we had room for her and of course we said yes., She still has quite a vetting to be done before she can go to her forever home. She is a little shy when she first meets you but will warm up quickly.
