UPDATE:  Chance is a very sweet dog, he has been settling in well with us, in his foster home. He absolutely loves toys! He doesn't destroy or chew on them, but he collects them. He likes to carry one with him, or bring it to you, or will play fetch. He has learned the doggy door since he has been with us. He likes to stick his head out to see what is going on, or take a toy out with him, and sunbathe a bit. He really likes walks, or going to the park. He walks really well on leash, he doesn't pull, he sticks with you. He does well with other dogs, and kids, and people, just overall a happy easy going guy. 

Meet Chance, a new arrival into Recue.  His family had to surrender him as one of their children had developed an allergy to dogs.  Chance is a little confused right now as he had been with his family all of his life but he is adjusting in his foster home.  Chance loves people, kids and other animals.  He needs to be in a calm home, with or without kids.  He was gentle with the kids in his former home as he had been with them since they were babies.  One of his favorite things to do is snuggle with his humans.  If you would like to give this senior gentleman his forever home, please complete an application at www.ctdr.org.
