Howdy! I’m Rocco, or Pocco, as my foster mom calls me. She says Rocco sounds like a really big dog & I’m just a little guy! Although my foster mom is really cool and I love my foster sisters, I’m looking for a forever home. I don’t remember much about where I came from, I just know that I want to spend my days in one place, with someone to love and cuddle with, a regular meal and most importantly, someone that will love me as much as I love them! I like to cuddle, am a total couch hog during TV time and have wonderful potty manners! I don’t have much use for dog beds; those are for dogs so who needs them but I am content to stay in my kennel when my foster mom is gone for the day! I like to sleep in the big bed at night & I don’t make a sound. When my foster mom wakes up, it’s time to play!! I love to roll on my back and grab with my paws! I like having other dogs around to play with but I must be honest, I’m not always so very friendly at the very first but once I warm up, they can be my BFF! I like walking on my leash, chasing leaves as they fall and barking at frogs! I also like to roll in the grass and then lay in the morning sun!

My foster mom has this red thing that rolls around the house and makes a lot of noise that doesn’t thrill me all that much but I’m trying to learn to be a big boy and tolerate it. When she gets it out I sniff it & it seems really fine but then it starts to make all this noise! My foster sisters curl up in their beds when the noise starts but I’m not that brave yet…but I’m working on it! I like to warn my foster mom when someone is coming and I like to fuss at the squirrels in my back yard! I like meeting new people but I let them know whose boss first! I have fun running behind my foster mom as she walks thru the house, sometimes I bark at her ‘cause I can’t keep up! I play with toys but I would much rather be the center of your attention!

Do you have room in your heart for me? I’m a handsome boy with just a touch of gray at my nose and silky black hair. I’m just a little thing, I don’t eat very much and I have so much to give! My foster mom says I make her smile every day with my silliness. I guess that’s good because she picks me up and holds me when I make her laugh! I’ve had my dental work done, I don’t have those yucky wormy things in my heart and I’ve been nurtured, that wasn’t much fun but it’s over so the good life can begin!
