At night, he wil snuggle under the covers with you. In the summer, he plays in the sprinkler, and loves his bath. (Oddly, however, Izzy does not like being in the rain.) At meal times, Izzy may "sit up pretty" to beg for a morsel from your plate. At his foster home, Izzy has several dachshund buddies who keep him calm when Mom runs errands. He does not do well alone. Although timid, he will seek being held and petted, as he gains confidence in your good will.
