Tom is a beautiful red, smooth, standard male dachshund. He is a very sweet and loving boy who gets along extremely well with people and other dogs.

Tom is energetic enough to keep up with and play with his four month old foster sister, but is also calm enough for his thirteen year old foster sister to have also fallen in love with him.

Tom is housetrained and will stand by the door when he wants to go outside. In addition to playing or lounging with his foster sisters, Tom loves his walks. He is happy being inside or outside, but is most happy curled up on the couch napping with his people at the end of yet another fun-filled day. Tom will bring love and joy to any person or family who longs for a devoted best friend for life.
