Heartworm Prevention given on the 28th of each month

  Ah, the joys of senior dogs.  Misty knows the score, how to live in a house with other dogs and people.  She knows when it's time to go out to do her business, when it's her turn for petting, and when it's time to go in her crate for the night.  She likes chewies and bones, but is past the toy stage. Misty was a momma dog, and she loves having her belly rubbed.  She is undoubtedly happy to not be covered with puppies any more, but she still wants attention from her humans!   Misty outlived her previous owner and was returned to CTDR. Like many other mature women, Misty needs to watch her figure.  Her forever family will need to teach her not to wolf down her treats and feed her the right amount of food so she can maintain a healthy weight. Misty is affectionate, likes older children, and is just a laid back, sweet senior lady who has many years of love left to give.  She will turn her wise gaze on you with knowing affection.  Misty is looking for a home where her mellow love will be rewarded with kindness.
