Mitzi is the sweetest, most wiggly, most kissy, little girl I have met!  She is just so sweet and so cute and her entire body just wiggles like a bowl of Jell-O, when you give her the slightest bit of attention!  Even just looking at her and the wiggling will begin! Mitzi just LOVES her Humans, and "Her Human" is any Human with a free hand to scratch her! She bonds quickly and will quickly become your shadow and follow you everywhere!  When you come in the door, she spins in circles because she is so happy to see you! She will quickly roll over to have her tummy scratched and will bow her head to give you full access to scratch her ears!  And those ears!  Oh my Goodness they are just made for scratching!  She has "Flying Nun" ears that kind of stick out from her head and really blow in the breeze.  Not sure what happened to her in the past, but one of her ears has a notch in it.  It just adds some character to her appearance!  Mitzi loves to run and play with other dogs!  She loves ALL dogs and the size doesn't matter! Wrestling with other dogs and with her humans is a favorite activity of hers.  She doesn't chew on anything she is not suppose to, and is not destructive. She has not be exposed to cats at this time, so not sure how she will react.  She totally ignores birds and squirrels while we are outside and is more content to just sniff out every tree, bush and blade of grass! Little Mitzi loves to give Kisses!  If you aren't paying attention to her, and she can find your hand, she will give you kisses on your hand to get you to pet her!  She loves to give you a kiss on your nose!  But just a short, quick, little kiss on your nose!  She won't drown you in slobber! Mitzi is an attention hound and has a tendency to be jealous when other dogs are being petted!  She tries to nose in between her human and whatever dog is receiving attention! She's not mean or aggressive, she just wiggles into the limelight to get all the attention she can get!  She is a serious snuggler and lap pup!  When laying in the lap of her human, she loves to roll over on her back, stick her paws in the air, and when you start scratching her chest or tummy, she half closes her eyes and sighs, the big sighs of contentment!  Mitzi is about 7 years old and is a short haired, Black and White Piebald.  She is a Tweenie weighing in at about 15 pounds! Her vaccines are all up to date, she has been micro chipped, her teeth are pearly white, she is spayed and ready for her new forever home! She loves to play with any human or dog that will play with her and to run!  She walks pretty good on a leash and is pretty good about doing her business outside!  She goes to the door when she needs to go. She will come when called!  We are working on some basic good manners, such as "sit" and "down" and "off" and "wait". She Kennels on command!  Mitzi is very smart and very eager to please and is learning quickly! She is not a big barker, but will bark to alert if someone comes to the door or close to the door, so I think she will be a good watch dog.    I think the "attack dog" job is out for Mitzi!  Knowing Mitzi, she would just lick a burglar into submission if one were to break in! Mitzi will sleep in her crate but prefers to sleep in the big bed, curled up, under the covers, next to her Human!  She is a burrower and will crawl way down under the covers and curl up into a little ball to sleep. You would never know she is there, except that she is so warm, she will take the chill out of the bed and have it nice and toasty for you!  Mitzi can be a little Drama Queen!  When placed into her crate, she will whine for a few minutes and turn in circles in her crate.  But after a few minutes she settles down, burrows under the blanket and goes to sleep. If you startle her, she yelps a few times, and will continue the yelping, so that you will continue to love on her and comfort her!  She loves her food, and will try to sneak everyone else's food if not watched! She is not food aggressive and will allow me to put my hand into her food bowl while she is eating without reacting.  She just eats around your hand! At treat time, she takes it gently from your hand, but will bump the other dogs out of the way to get more then her share!  Since she is very food oriented, she can be trained using treats as rewards. The perfect home for Mitzi would be a home, where she is the only dog and can have all the attention, or a home with maybe one other dog for her to play with, but where she would not have to share a lot of attention!  She needs a home with a human that loves to showered with attention and affection, and where it will be returned to her!  She would be comfortable in a house or an apartment.  She does have a tendency to jump up, so a home with small children would not be ideal, since she might knock a small child over.  But she does love to run and play chase with older children!  She needs a human who will be firm and consistent with Mitzi, since she is a little head strong and can be stubborn! Do you have an empty lap that needs a warm fuzzy little lover in it?  Do you have a little time to be showered with love and affection and to shower some love and affection back on a little loving girl, that only wants to please and be loved?  Do you have a little space to put a warm blanket and soft bed?  Could you spare a little Nutritious food for a little girl, that doesn't eat much?
