Tim likes to play with stuffed animals, especially hedgehogs, and will bring the toys back when thrown. He loves to be held and is very content to lie in one's lap while watching TV or reading.  He is most happy when around humans and being given attention. Tim is housebroken.  He will also use a puppy pad if one is on the floor. Tim eats well and is not picky about food. Tim is so so about riding in the car.  He is fine if someone is holding him; however, by himself, he drools--he did not get carsick, just a lot of drool. Tim does very well with other dogs and has not shown any aggression toward other dogs even when being fed.  He like to play with other dogs but does not want to rough house or do a lot of chasing in the yard. He has not been around children so I do not know how he would respond to them. He walks well on the leash and does not appear to be aggressive towards other dogs being walked. He does not express an interest in chasing cats that we encounter on our walks. Tim will bark if he hears a noise but he does not continuously bark. He is very shy around strangers--we have had several visitors in the last week and Tim does not respond immediately to their efforts to be friendly with him.  He will eventually go up to be petted or held. He sleeps well.  He has shown no inclination to dig.  He comes when called. The one bad habit he has is he likes to chew on card board (such as packages of storage bags and empty toilet paper rolls). He has not bothered shoes or furniture or electrical cords. Sometimes, if it is raining or the weather is hot, we have to convince him he does want to go outside.  Tim does his duty outside and comes back in quickly.
