Willie was a breeder dog who apparently never received any attention and didn't know what it was to be part of a family. At first Willie wanted nothing to do with anybody or any other dogs. He wouldn't even come into the house or accept treats. He is still skittish, but he's come a long way in just a few weeks. He now uses the doggie door and doggie steps. He will even approach people he knows for pets and belly rubs. He seeks out the company of other dogs, and he actually has remembered how to play! Willie is a sweet and lovable guy, but he still needs a family who can be patient with him. He's working on house training (remember he was never allowed in a house before). He'll make a wonderful addition to a family who's willing to help him continue his journey of learning to be a pet.
