Daisy is a high energy little girl with a very, very sweet nature. She is super friendly and loves to be held, even if only for the minute it takes her to recharge her batteries. Daisy loves to chew on items (even hands) so we keep plenty of chew toys within her reach to keep her busy and occupied--when she is being held, she is quick to notice that the human is not paying close attention and she will try to chew on blankets, clothes, books, magazines, halters, leashes, etc.. She likes to play with soft toys and has, so far, resisted the urge to chew on the toys. Even though she is confined to a crate while her right-hind leg heals, you can see that she is ready to go for a walk whenever we open the door--we have to be quick or she zooms out of our reach. She dearly wants to play with the other three dogs but her healing process will not allow play time with dogs. Daisy is not a barker, she barks only when the other three dogs have a prolonged bark session. Daisy is a good eater and she is enjoys eating even in her crate. Daisy has an even temperment and has not acted out against another dog even when lap sharing. Daisy does very well when being carried around the house and has not displayed any trust or fear issues while being held. The only problem we have, besides the chewing, is Daisy wanting to be a roadrunner while being exercised on her leash.
