CHASSEY,  is 3 yr old, black and tan, short coated, little girl, that weighs in around 18 pounds! She is long and low, a real low rider doxie!  She is happy, playful, energetic, and loves to please! She is timid, and nervous when first meeting new people, and startles easily. But give her a calm, quiet couple of minutes, and she blossoms into a delightful, playful, energetic little companion who loves to be by your side, giving kisses and rolling over for tummy rubs!   She'll go to the door and ask to out for a potty walk and is crate trained,  does pretty well on a leash and rides well in the car wearing a seatbelt. She gets along with other dogs her size, but does tend to try to dominate everyone.  She prefers that cats be served up as Lunch, so she can eat them!  Chassey responds well to verbal correction, and verbal praise. I believe she may have been abused, as she will cringe and cower down if your hands move to quickly towards her head or you speak to loudly to her.  She sleeps quietly at night in her crate, but prefers to be in the big bed, curled up by your side under the covers!  Chassey asks for so little in life, just a soft, warm, safe place to sleep, some nutritious food, a kind word and a gentle hand.  In return, she offers her undying, devoted love, companionship, daily kisses and a warm snuggle, cuddle buddy!  Do you have room in your heart and home, for little Miss Chassey?
