Toby is a one year old young male miniature dachshund. He came to Shelter as an stray. He was scared and confused in the shelter but came out of his shell with hours of being brought into a home. He is smooth red in color. He weighs about 10lbs. He needs about two pounds more weight on him. Toby is an active an loving little boy. He likes following his people around and being in their laps anytime they sit still. Toby is good with both male and female dogs.  Being young almost a puppy he is very active. Toby loves his kibble and treats and is very food motivated. He is kennel trained, but will complain for a few minutes if people are still in the room. Toby is housetrained on a schedule and does not soil his kennel. In short, Toby is your typical fun loving and social dachshund. I think he would do best in a home with other dogs. He has not been socialized with cats.
